Accessing the Internet from the ITC Convergence Network
(These directions are subject to update and can be found at http://proxypac.itconvergence.com/)
IT Convergence employes a web proxy for the following services: To employ the proxy for these services you will need to configure the services on your machine. You can either manually configure the service or use the automatic proxy configuration script, if your application supports it.

To use the automatic proxy configuration script with Internet Explorer

Go to Tools -> Internet Options

Select Tools then Internet Options

Select the Connections TAB and Click the "LAN Settings" button

LAN Settings

Here you should select the "Use automatic configuration script" option and insert the script URL as:

http://proxypac.itconvergence.com/proxy.pac

This script will automatically setup your proxy connection.

To manually setup a proxy connection

Applications which access the internet (such as MSN) can also be configured to use the proxy. Change the application settings to use a HTTP proxy at

proxy.itconvergence.com port:80

There is a redundant proxy at

backup-proxy.itconvergence.com port:8080

Any application which supports the use of a proxy can be configured similarly.

To configure Real Player to use a RTSP Proxy go to Tools -> Preferences

Select Tools then preferances

Here select the Proxies Tab, and enter the values

proxy.itconvergence.com port:554

Set the RSTP Proxy
